Land of Lymm
The other weekend I had a lovely visit to a place called Lymm. We (my partner and I) had been for a meal out with a few friends the night before in Stockton Heath and there were plans to go for a walk the next day with the pup and it was a great day all round really! The weather was bright and sunny, the woodland area was nice and dry, it was very green everywhere which is one thing I do enjoy about spring and summer.
So because I'm actually useless at remembering to take pictures of my days out, I made a real effort to actually capture the bits around that I loved. It turned from a casual picture here and there, to the group stopping ahead and pointing out something I should photograph. I came across lots of wood carvings and I find it's such an underrated talent! There was a totem pole that had a face and various animals carved in, but the chaps nose had been broken off..
I definitely want to go back again, because it had so many different paths and other things I didn't take photos of but want to. Talking a walk in the outdoors is a great source of inspiration as well as being good for your health. If you happen to follow me on Instagram, I've made a pact with myself to look after myself more, and in more ways. So getting outdoors while the weather (warmly) permits is a definite. Moving to a new city has certainly shown me lots of new areas and places to go, it's fantastic to have things to do- in fact too many things to do!
Check out this beautiful shot I took of the lake we walked along. Couldn't walk past without taking a photograph. I want to make use of some of the images I take, so it may be that you see them again soon! What do you think? Is there anywhere beautiful near you that you go and walk around? What gives you inspiration?
